Terms of Service
1. The service
VOE provides eye-care practices with a branded virtual eyewear try-on storefront and a management dashboard. Practices control the inventory, branding, and team for their own storefront.
2. Accounts
Dashboard access requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Roles (owner, admin, editor, viewer) determine what each member can do.
3. Acceptable use
- Don’t misuse the service, attempt to breach tenant isolation, or access data that isn’t yours.
- Only upload inventory and content you have the right to use.
- Don’t use the service to send unsolicited or unlawful messages.
4. Not medical advice
VOE is a visual aid for browsing and trying on frames. It is not a substitute for a professional eye exam, prescription, or in-person fitting. Frame fit, sizing, and availability are confirmed by the practice. Frames shown may be subject to availability.
5. Intellectual property
The VOE platform, design, and software are owned by VOE and its licensors. Practice trademarks, logos, and catalog content remain the property of the respective practice or brand.
6. Third-party technology
The try-on uses Fitting Box, subject to its own terms. Availability of specific frames in 3D depends on the Fitting Box catalog.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Confirm with counsel.)
